COMMEMORATIVE EVENT ON THE OCCASION OF THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF THE DANA STORM OF OCTOBER 29, 2024

On November 5th, Castell d'Alaquàs commemorated the first anniversary of the devastating storm (DANA) of October 29, 2014, a day marked by emotion, remembrance, and collective gratitude. The event began with a musical performance by the Unió Musical d'Alaquàs, followed by a minute of silence observed in memory of the victims of the storm.

The Mayor of Alaquàs, Toni Saura, and the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Marta Murciano, offered words of tribute and recognition to all the individuals, organizations, and government bodies that collaborated in solidarity during those difficult days. During the event, a work conceived as a symbol of gratitude, honoring the volunteers who contributed enormously to the recovery, was officially unveiled by its creator, Jesús Martín-Lorente “Chule.”

From Chatarras Hermanos Guerrero we help the people of Alaquàs and neighboring towns in every way possible, providing our services selflessly in order to help as much as possible during the catastrophe.
